| | Might as well be the first to post. What a concept. OK, concepts - power amp switching, attenuator, master cut, separate 6L6 level control, half open/half closed cab, and lead-linking. What an amp! |

| I regret this amp.
I regret Jeff never got to take the idea further only because Mesa's bogus infringement claim meant more people won't ever know what they're missing.
I regret it doesn't sound right until you turn it up and then when you do it makes you never want to turn it down - EL84 attenuator and 6L6 master be damned.
I regret I don't own a store full of guitars to play through this amp.
I regret more amps don't love pedals as much as the DS30 does.
I regret I don't have a 1210 cab like some others on this forum to try out Budda's now abandoned cab switching feature with a one-of-a-kind dual output stage amp with a one-of-a-kind cab.
I regret I'm worried to move this amp from the studio because if it disappeared less than a few hundred were made, and not many are willing to let their DS30's go from their hot, sweaty, calloused fingers.
I regret the DS30 isn't broadly recognized as one of the best amps ever made, because it is.
Someone on the Harmony Central DS30 reviews said something like, "If you see one of these amps up for sale and don't buy it, you're an idiot."
I regret I've done a lot of dumb things in this life, but buying this amp when I did is not one of them.
Aye men.
