I currently am using a Avatar 1x12 cab loaded with a Mesa black shadow speaker with my SD 30 II head and it sounds great. But I want a 2x12 cab and I found a Mesa 2x12 loaded with vintage 30's anybody have experience with these speakers with a SD 30 II head and if so what are your thoughts on how they match up together. I play mostly classic rock some hard rock no metal.

I own a couple of Mesa Recto 2x12 cabs that I use with my SD45II. One has the stock V30s and one has Scumback m75s. I prefer the Scumbacks but with that head the V30s do sound pretty good too. I don't get the V30 spiky tones when I pair it with my Budda.
I would think you would have good results with your SD30II also.
I play classic/hard rock stuff myself.
