Where is the switch? Empty
PostSubject: Where is the switch?   Where is the switch? EmptySat Oct 01, 2011 4:29 pm

HI guys....
I'm new to the forum and it looks like a great place for all things Budda!
I have a SD45 and 2x12 cabinet.

I have a few questions.

1) I keep hearing about a switch to go from tube rectifier to solid state....where is this switch?

2) Is that a fan I see in next to the rec tube?

Thank you.

Hi PurpleMojo,

If you own a newer model, Peavey owned Budda, you won't find a switch. The new SD45's don't have the option to run diodes. They are tube rectifier only.

I have an older SD45 II that has the switch and it is located on the back, right next to the mains input. I never use the diodes myself.
