Loop vs. G system Empty
PostSubject: Loop vs. G system   Loop vs. G system EmptyMon Nov 24, 2008 11:43 am

I haven't had much of a noise problem with using my SD-18 with the TC Electronic G System. But I have noticed a bid of noise and a fair amount of tone coloring on the drive channel with the G as compared to without. Is this due to the loop or is it possibly with the G (i've read some stuff in their forums about this)? How is the loop in general? I've tried with both balanced and unbalanced cords, a little less noise with balanced. If it is the G, what delays, chorus, and reverbs would you suggest to put in the loop? (I may join a journey cover band, so these effects would be necessary:) )

make sure you use true bypass effects and stay away from all mass produced pedals like Boss,Digitech,Line 6,MXR they are all cheaply made and not true bypass. Go to pedalspluseffectswarehouse.com,pedalgeek.com,proguitarshop.com, tonefactor.com or tonetronix.com they all deal in quality effects and most all are true bypass. Also check out Artec pedals on ebay they are cheap and true bypass i have a delay of there's its awesome also its analog was like 40 dollars also no noise or hum and doesn't color or alter tone hope this helps later
