Howdy all, I bought a Budda Sd30 2x12 used a while back. When i got it home it was making kind of an AM radio/crackling noise. I smacked it upside the head and that seemed to fix it...however now it's doing it pretty much all the time. Any ideas where i should check?
It does it with or without a cable plugged into it, so its not a bad cable or jack.

Kinda sound like a bad solder joint. Have you tried retubing? Try retubing pre's/pwr/rect. and see if that helps. You can go one by one to see which is the problem, if that's the problem. It also my be a speaker connection too. Email Jeff Bober @ pgampman@gmail.com. He can tell you more.
