Anyone have one of these rare 30W species? Ever have a chance to directly compare it to the 18W TM? I have heard others play Teles and Strats through the TM with the volume set pretty high, and they could change the amount of grind with the guitar's volume knob fairly well.
I play a Les Paul with humbuckers, and back in the day when I had a TM 1x12 combo, lowering the guitar's volume controls just quieted things down, and didn't afford the control that the single coils of the Tele and Strat have.
I'm wondering if the extra wattage in the Plus will equate to extra headroom over the TM, which will equate to being able to have better control over the amp's grind with the guitar's volume knobs. Thoughts?
